Sporty, Comfortable & fun to drive
By Terri | on Thursday, October 21, 2021
I use this vehicle in my real estate business. It is comfortable for 4 adults, surprisingly roomy. However, tall folks may not be as comfortable (6 ft or better). Average 36 mpg, great hatch/trunk, good sound system. Sporty drive for the 4 cylinder front wheel drive. Handles well on curvy roads, some luxury feeling. Mine is not equipped with remote start or the navigation app - wish it had it. I’d buy it again if I needed a vehicle. One of my whipper washers keeps stopping up….. only problem I’ve had…… - 5.0
I love this SUV
By Angie | on Monday, May 06, 2019
I looked for months to find a luxury SUV that was good on gas and roomy inside. Initially I was going to get the QX60 but I didn't like the interior or how long it looked. When they came out with the QX50 I remember my acutal head turning as I drove past one, it was THAT beautiful. I love the interior materials, the panoramic roof, the amazing gas mileage! I love it all. I just got it so I can't speak to reliability as much but Infiniti has a great manufacturer warranty so I'm not too worried about it.… - 3.0
2019 Infinity QX50
By KM | on Sunday, February 07, 2021
Originally, I was going to buy a BMW X4 M40i. But, I have been a Nissan fan for over 20 years and decided to give Infinity a chance. I decided to buy a new 2019, Infinity QX50, in the top trim level, loaded with every option. Before buying, I took one out for a test drive and I did not like how loose the steering was while driving in the inner City and Highway. At times, it didn't feel like I was in control, or connected to the Road. The Salesman told me the Steering was Electric Assist. The other thing I noticed was how soft the Brakes were and I had to put a lot of force into stopping. The Salesman told me that it was not that heavy of a SUV, so the Brakes will be a bit softer. The QX50, should be offered in a 3.0t and not a 2.0t. The Zero Gravity Seats were not that comfortable. My 2017, Nissan Murano Platinum, had Zero Gravity Seats and were far more comfortable than what this QX50 offered. I liked all the Technology and Safety features that Infinity put into this QX50, but no spare Tire. The Bose Audio system was the best that I ever had. The materials used inside the interior of the QX50 (Leather, Wood, Aluminum), were all decent quality. Eight months after ownership, things began to happen. (1) The Upper and Lower Screens would lock up, or go blank. (2) Navigation Screen would be heavily distorted and would flicker. (3) After pressing the button on the Tailgate to close it, the Tailgate would not close. I would use the Tailgate button on my Remote and it would not close. I used the Tailgate button on the Dash and the Tailgate would still not close. (4) The Subwoofer quit working one day. (5) My Cell Phone is paired to my QX50 and sometimes I was unable to make / receive calls and txt messages. (6) The Panoramic Roof (Interior track) started to make a metallic cracking sound. (7) Sometimes I'm unable to stop the QX50 in Snow conditions when starting to slow down far in advance. (8) Collision warning gives "False" collision warnings when driving, or at a Traffic Light, or Stop sign. (9) Sometimes the Brakes would stop working properly and a message would appear on my info screen for not even a second and was gone before I could read it. (10) Heated and Cool seats quit working a few times. (11) The DCU part has been replaced three times. (12) AWD not keeping me connected and planted to the Road, especially in the Winter months. Sometimes the rear end will fishtail and AWD is to prevent that from happening. Most every complaint listed above was Video recorded using my Cell Phone. I showed the Sales Manager and told him my safety concerns. Especially when I can't stop the QX50, because of the Brakes not working. The DCU has been replaced three times and most of the problems listed above been resolved and some are still present. Especially stopping. I should have followed my first mind and went with a new BMW, X4 m40i. I think I'm done with Infinity and will not take a chance like this again. I expected something far better from Infinity.…
